Description
We are a center dedicated toward the creation and delivery of epilepsy support, awareness, and wellness programs for those affected by the epilepsy as well as the general public. Our renowned programs used in many countries, provide an in depth understanding of epilepsy and first aid. The success of our public awareness videos was published in the journal Health Education Research August 2010. We are a proud member of the national organization The Canadian Epilepsy Alliance

The Center for Epilepsy is a leading organization in the world for epilepsy awareness programs. With diversified resources, we continue to fill the gaps for materials needs for all demographic groups that will enhance quality of life for those affected by the disorder. Our goals are to: reduce the fear when witnessing a seizure by furnishing first aid skills to instill self-confidence to correctly manage a seizure, minimize the social stigma for children and individuals who live with epilepsy, ensure access to support, advocacy and wellness programs that will enhance self-care and quality of life for those who live with epilepsy and to establish and deliver programs that will maintain a flow of information about epilepsy to government, community and support agencies, medical professionals and education institutions.
